Senior Financial Analyst, CL-281-24

STANISLAUS COUNTY OFFICE OF EDUCATION CLASS TITLE: Senior Financial Analyst BASIC FUNCTION: Under the direction of an assigned Supervisor, train and provide technical guidance to other district, CSSF accounting personnel and SCOE departmental accounting personnel; process County auditor apportionments and journals; perform oversight of fiscal evaluation for assigned districts and funds.
Perform complex statistical analysis of financial data, prepare State and departmental reports detailing the results; develop and utilize analytical tools and models for the analysis of data.
Provide recommendations based on sound fiscal detail to management.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Any combination equivalent to: associate's degree in accounting, bookkeeping or related field and four years increasingly responsible related accounting experience, including at least two years of governmental fund accounting experience and experience with advanced techniques in the use of computerized spreadsheets.
