How you will make contributions that matter.

All duties consistent with following our established SOPs to ensure the proper cleaning and sanitation of the mix/blend and receiving operations to include the tanks, pumps, product lines, valves, fittings and components.
This includes disassembling and reassembling equipment and lines as necessary.
Follow all established sanitation guidelines to ensure product meets our internal Saputo, State and Federal Pasteurized Milk Ordinance requirements for CIP/COP/SIP requirements.
Effective communication and coordination with other departments to ensure equipment is cleaned and reassembled in accordance with our production run schedule, product end of run, and product changeovers to ensure equipment is ready for the next run.
Record chemical inventories and ensure chemicals are used, labeled, and stored in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Actively monitor water temperatures, pressures, and water/product flow per requirements per the CIP/SIP requirements.
Follow all Chart Recording guidelines, ensure accuracy and completion of all required documentation, CIP and sanitation charts and records.
Accurately and neatly complete all required documentation.
Proficiency with computer-based software and automated control systems.
Support internal and external compliance audits.
Perform product reclaim activities when required, within defined guidelines.
Perform routine equipment adjustments as necessary.
Perform all required department environmental controls.
Follow all established GMP/Food Safety/Allergen policies Follow all employee Health and Safety policies.
Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
Identify and effectively communicate any delays, malfunctions, or mechanical issues immediately to Supervisor.
Safe operation of lift truck and material handling equipment.
Effectively communicate with other departments to ensure production efficiency.
Perform good housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.
Adhere to the Saputo Code of ethics and actively apply the Saputo values.
Work together professionally in a team environment with coworkers and other department personnel.
Other duties as required by management.
Physical Demands and Required Attributes Ability to work in manufacturing environment which includes but not limited to: noise, changing temperatures (hot, wet, cold, humid), standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around manufacturing equipment consistently throughout the shift.
Working with chemicals, wearing personal protective equipment, and following approved chemical handling procedures.
Read and write in English.
Visual acuity with the ability to see color.
Physical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted and frequently throughout the shift.
Shift flexibility.
Team members are assigned to a shift in support of 24/7 dairy manufacturing.
This can either be rotating, days, swing or night shift and weekends.
Workdays and shifts may change to help cover vacations/absences, during plant downtime or related events such as training or audits.
Overtime on daily and weekly basis is required.
You are best suited for the role if you… High school diploma or equivalent or minimum of (2)-two years of demonstrated work experience in food manufacturing, dairy food manufacturing experience preferred.
Proficient computer skills, software and data entry, SAP a plus.
Strong technical skills, ability to operate and understand equipment controls, touch panels and mechanical operations.
Ability to achieve lift truck certification and safely operate lift trucks.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Demonstrated work history.

Hourly Pay Rate: $28.
