DESCRIPTION OF POSITION This job description is a record of the essential functions of the listed job.

POPULATION SERVED The position involves no direct patient care for a population of patients ages 18 and older.
Age specific experience and/or special training and/or expertise are not required.
POSITION DESCRIPTION Assist with installing and maintaining local desktop, maintain system documentation.
Provide technical support to users with the help of support desk and network team.
Assist network team in trouble shoots problems with network equipment and performs equipment repair or upgrades when appropriate.
Individuals in this position are expected to be available during the normal business hours of the establishment and may occasionally be asked to vary their schedule and/or work overtime to meet department requirements.
Analysis, judgment, attention to detail, dependability, informal communication, initiative, knowledge of work, sensitivity, teamwork, technical/professional self-development, work standards and adhere to the facility professional appearance standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
Assist in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for users.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
Perform routine maintenance tasks such as system updates, patches, and antivirus scans.
Set up user accounts and permissions, including password resets and access controls.
Document technical procedures, troubleshooting steps, and user guides.
Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned, contributing to project planning, execution, and evaluation.
Collaborate with IT team members to resolve escalated technical issues.
Assists with ordering software, hardware and other supplies as required for the institutional computer network, personal computer, and computer labs.
Assist in maintaining IT security protocols and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to IT operations.
Perform other duties as assigned by IT management.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Associate degree or higher in computer science, data processing or related field preferred.
One year of IT/Helpdesk support experience is desired.
Ability to install software and hardware on networking equipment and microcomputers.
Familiarity with a variety of networking and personal computer software.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on, computers and peripheral equipment.
Ability to communicate information to staff and the public in a clear and concise manner Ability and desire to work as a member of a team.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to other employees and/or students of the organization.
Able to anticipate the needs of others and work independently.
Ability to focus on quality outcomes and adapt quickly to change as necessary.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines appropriately.
