Job Summary:
Summary
Reporting to the Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Nursing Assistant (NA) performs duties under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN)/Charge Nurse.
Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the Nursing Assistant scope of practice.
Accepts assignments in hospital units for which qualified through completion of unit specific checklists.
Qualifications:
BLS
Nursing Assistant certification required or current 2nd semester nursing student when hired or transferred into position
6+ months recent (within 3 months) acute care or SNF experience as a nursing assistant
