What we are looking for
As a Superintendent on our Operations, Monitoring and Maintenance team (OM&M) you will oversee the daily activities Landfill sites with regard to project scope, schedule, workforce, and budget.
This includes coordination with all onsite SCS team members, and oversight of all Laborers, Equipment Operators, Field Technicians, Foremen and Fusion Technicians.
You will be in close communication with clients.
You will report to the Project Manager, Project Superintendents and Regional Manager.
You will report to the Modesto, CA area.
How you can make an impact
Understand project scope/plans, specifications, schedule, budget, contract documents, and deliverables.
Review with PM to discuss out of scope hours that are being requested by the site.
Ensure that all required logs and mobile tools are being used and completed daily with detailed information.
Familiar with subcontractors work scope, costs, and time limits.
Work with Clients regarding sensitive and technical matters.
Attend all required onsite meetings and provide clients updates on work completion and take their direction on implementing work tasks that may be assigned by them.
Help set up accounts with local hardware stores, rental companies, etc.
Plan daily work schedule for crew.
Interview and hire personnel as requested by the Project Manager.
Use tools, ladders, portable saws, and generators to cut pipe to raise or repair gas well piping.
Use grinders and extrusion welding equipment to repair or expand gas system or leachate piping.
Repair leachate or condensate pumps.
Lift and lower repaired pumps into vaults or sumps.
Participate in monthly tailgate Health and Safety meeting and monthly Health and Safety (SOP) training.
Qualifications
3+ years of Field Landfill Gas OM&M Experience required.
40 hour Heath and Safety, 8 hour Management and Supervisor, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
20, Confined Space Entry, and Trench Excavation Safety training.
Experience or demonstrated high degree of knowledge in mechanical work; analytical problem solving and data analysis; interpretation of plans, specifications, schematics, manufacturer manuals, system operation and maintenance manuals; interpretation of applicable codes and regulations.
Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.

Pay range for this position is $35/hr to $40/hr depending on experience and location.
This does not include bonuses or our Employee Stock Ownership Plan.
